1. The Service
BetterVideo ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered video enhancement service that upscales video resolution and restores faces using Real-ESRGAN and GFPGAN models. By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Credits & Payments
- Credit packs: Starter ($9.00 / 10 credits), Pro ($29.00 / 40 credits), Elite ($49.00 / 80 credits).
- No subscription: Credits are purchased once and never expire.
- Consumption: 1 credit = up to 30 seconds of source video. Formula: ⌈duration ÷ 30⌉. Credits are deducted when processing begins.
- Non-refundable once used: Credits deducted for a processed video cannot be refunded. Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase — contact support@bettervideo.io.
- Payments: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
3. Video Processing (5-Minute Maximum)
- Maximum video duration: 300 seconds (5 minutes) per upload. Videos exceeding this limit will be rejected before any credits are deducted.
- Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, AVI.
- Processing time: approximately 2–5 minutes per minute of source video, depending on GPU availability.
- We do not guarantee exact processing times. Service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance.
4. One-Time Download Policy
Enhanced videos are delivered via a unique, single-use download link. After the link is used once it is permanently invalidated. We strongly recommend saving your file immediately after downloading. All files are automatically deleted from our servers after 90 days. We are not responsible for files lost after link expiry or the 90-day deletion window.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringes intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or depictions of violence.
- Harasses, threatens, or defames any individual.
- Attempts to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund.
6. Service Availability
BetterVideo is provided "as is." We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. GPU processing capacity may vary. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Stripe, Lambda Labs).
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@bettervideo.io. Upon deletion, your profile, videos, and unused credits are permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterVideo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 90 days preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
