BetterVideo vs Kling: Credits and Privacy Compared
Kling is popular because its video is good and it does a lot, including native audio and lip sync. Here is how the credit rules and the fine print line up with ours.
Credits
Kling's credits policy says membership credits are valid for 1 month and purchased credits for 2 years. A failed generation is refunded. Our credits don't expire at all, and there's no membership to begin with. The detail is on Do Kling credits expire?
Privacy
We couldn't find a clear statement about training on your uploads in the pages we could open, so we make no claim about Kling here. Read Kling's privacy policy (updated April 21, 2026) and ask them in writing if it matters to you. Ours doesn't train on uploads.
Sound and lip sync
Kling lists native audio and lip sync from text or uploaded audio. We add music or a voiceover to the video, and our lip sync is limited to 4 or 8 second clips. If long, talking-heavy videos are the goal, Kling is probably the stronger fit.

A note on these facts
BetterVideo is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Runway, Luma, Kling or any other company named here, and their names belong to their owners. We use them only to say which product we mean.
Everything about other companies comes from their own public pages, which we read on October 20, 2026. This is our review of what those pages say, not a claim about how any company behaves in practice, what it intends, or how it treats your data. Where we couldn't confirm something, we say so. Terms, prices and features change without notice, so open the linked source and read the current version before you rely on it.
